遊戲中傑洛特能夠煉製多種不同功效的藥劑，但這些藥劑只能在一定時間內起效，本次新作中加入了藥劑升級系統，每種藥劑都可以通過升級來提高藥劑的品質，高品質藥劑的效果、使用次數等屬也更高，升級藥劑並不需要特殊技能支援，但使用高品質的藥劑會有相應的等級限制。
